Welcome to Hudson Reads. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hudsonreads.com and your purchase of our products. By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms.

In these Terms, "Hudson Reads," "we," "us," and "our" mean Hudson Reads. "You" means you, the customer or visitor.

1. Our products

Hudson Reads sells physical footwear, including the Hayleigh braided cork sandals. Product images are as accurate as we can make them; slight variation in colour between screens and the physical product is normal.

2. Orders

When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We confirm by email once it's accepted. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred), in which case we'll refund any payment in full.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices and offers at any time, but changes won't affect orders already confirmed. Payment is processed securely through Shopify and its payment providers.

4. Shipping and delivery

Delivery timings are estimates. Please see our Shipping & Delivery page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

5. Returns

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, images, designs, and the Hudson Reads name and branding — is owned by Hudson Reads or its licensors and is protected by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation or security.

8. Limitation of liability

Our products and website are provided with reasonable care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Nothing here affects the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
