Comfortable shoes shouldn't mean boring shoes.

Hudson Reads started with a small, stubborn belief: you should never have to choose between a sandal that looks beautiful and a sandal your feet can actually live in all day. Somehow, that choice had become normal — the pretty pair that blisters by lunchtime, or the comfortable pair you hide at the back of the wardrobe.

So we set out to make the sandal we couldn't find. One with a real contoured cork footbed and genuine arch support underneath — and a hand-braided, boho-beautiful upper on top. Something you'd reach for on a city walk, a summer holiday, a long day on your feet, and a dinner out. That sandal became Hayleigh.
