These terms apply when you buy The Family Handover Kit from hudsonreads.com. By placing an order you agree to them.

2. The product

The Family Handover Kit is a digital product: printable PDF files that you download, print at home and keep in a folder. It comes in three versions — The Essential Kit, The Settled Family Pack and The Complete Peace-of-Mind Pack — with the contents described on the product page. It is written for families in England & Wales.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the product page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Every kit is a one-off payment — there is no subscription. Payment is taken securely through our checkout.

4. Delivery

Straight after payment we email you access to download your files, at the address you gave at checkout. If it hasn’t arrived within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder, then email us and we’ll send it again.

5. Cancelling and our money-back guarantee

Because the kit is delivered immediately as a download, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends once you start downloading it. Our 30-day money-back guarantee goes further: if the kit isn’t right for you, email us within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund — see Refunds.

6. Using the kit

The kit is for your own household’s personal use. You may print as many copies as your family needs. You may not resell it, share it publicly or redistribute it.

7. Not legal, tax or financial advice

The kit is a practical plan and organiser. It is not a will and not legal, tax or financial advice, and it does not replace a solicitor, accountant or other professional. Rules, fees and deadlines change — check the current position on GOV.UK or with a professional before acting.

8. Our responsibility to you

If a file is faulty or won’t open, we’ll replace it or refund you. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you placed your order. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you placed your order applies to that order.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales may deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
